Project Manager, Water

## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleWe're looking for a Project Manager to join the Water Regulation Team in our Infrastructure Regulation branch. This is a fixed term or secondment opportunity until December 2026 and can be based in our either Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

• You'll lead medium to large-scale projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring robust project management practices and strong stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners, providing clear advice and reporting, while mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.As a Project Manager you will manage projects within structured frameworks, coordinate teams, and ensure delivery of outputs on time and within budget.The indicative salary range for a Project Manager is $114,327- $134,502 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.

• Holds an undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience), with a recognised project management qualification.
• Demonstrates expert-level project management capability, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery.
• Communicates clearly and confidently, with experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
