Position Overview
The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) reports to the Manager, Clinical Applications. This role is part of the clinical applications team and acts as a technical expert within a team-sales strategy, collaborating closely with Area Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers. The role is highly visible and involves working with Marketing, Engineering, and R&D teams. Supporting KOL development and hospital reference sites is especially important.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support Kubtec’s sales team through clinical evaluations, demonstrations, and installations.
- Develop and maintain strategic account relationships as the primary technical consultant for specimen imaging and gamma detection products.
- Create strategies to help customers optimize procedures and workflows.
- Provide pre-sale support, installation assistance, and customized training based on customer needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in imaging and workflow protocols, advising clients on optimizing image quality and system performance.
- Train and communicate nuances of specimen imaging and gamma detection techniques.
- Monitor and promote adoption, retention, and expansion of products within customer accounts.
- Manage opportunities to strengthen client relationships and accelerate decision-making, increasing revenue through higher adoption.
- Identify product gaps, coach customers, and mitigate attrition risks.
- Deliver ongoing education and training to end users to ensure account proficiency and success.
- Collaborate with the sales team by providing technical expertise during sales cycles and supporting site visits.
- Assist sales in identifying opportunities within existing accounts to grow sales and revenue.
- Support new product evaluations and clinical studies.
- Share feedback with internal teams, identify trends, and facilitate connections to add value for customers and Kubtec.
Qualifications and Experience
Deep knowledge of the breast care continuum to make clinical recommendations.Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and clinical staff.Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and influence complex procedures.Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.Hands-on, team-oriented, and accountable for achieving performance metrics.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organized with the ability to multitask.Articulate, analytical, technically savvy, and professional.Self-motivated and independent.Positive attitude and team player.Effective time management, including scheduling, travel, and expenses.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical applications or training.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.Work from a home-based office.Own a vehicle for ground transportation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
