Job Description

Understand the insurance company process for preparing and painting vehicles

Be able to follow the instructions on the job card

Check the vehicle before commencing work for any additional painting required take images and report to supervisor

Check paint codes / colours and volumes required before commencing.

Prepare vehicles for painting with the correct tools and equipment and follow company procedures

Be able to mix paint to manufactures instructions

Know how to do a pre paint inspection to make sure prep and masking is correct to eliminate rework.

Carry out painting using BTP (best trade practises) and manufacturers specs

Examine finished vehicle and check for defects unmask and clean up as required before refit.

Comply and understand our Health and Safety policies and procedures

Work as part of team

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Spray Painting

A reliable and active team player

The desire to upskill and become a part of the Fleet Image Family.

Fleet Image offer

Hourly rate on offer for Spray Painters - $30 - $34 per hour depending on skill level

Full time permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours per week and the opportunity for overtime

Monday - Friday Saturday rolling roster (every third Saturday - 8am-1pm)

Work in great facilities with ongoing training available
