Sales Rep – Scaling Sustainability at Critical. We are hiring a part-time Sales Rep to support rapid growth and close deals with architects, designers, and brands who want to use Cleanstone.
Location : Remote (NZ-based preferred). Commitment : Part-time ~24 hours / week (3 days, flexible), contract. Start Date : ASAP.
About Critical.
Critical. is rewriting the narrative for plastic waste. Our flagship material, Cleanstone, is made from 100% recycled plastics and is leading the charge in sustainable building materials. We aim to be the Apple of green design and circular building materials—cutting-edge, beautiful, near carbon neutral, circular, and transformative. We work to reduce climate change and plastic pollution and partner with iwi Māori and indigenous communities to deploy our technology globally. We are a Māori company focused on uplifting the mauri of te taiao and the wellbeing of our whenua, rivers, and oceans.
We started Critical. to be good tīpuna (ancestors) so generations beyond us can thrive. Over the last 6 years we have developed world‑leading technology to transform hard-to-recycle plastics into durable materials that accelerate circularity in the built environment.
Our journey includes : Rui starting Critical. from a design background, growing from a spare room to a pilot plant, receiving Seed funding, and participating in the Startmate Accelerator, with a vision to expand across Aotearoa and Australia and beyond.
The Role
We’re growing fast and inbound leads are flowing. This role is not a cold-calling position; you will work with existing leads and help reduce sales cycle, respond quickly, and close deals with architects, designers, and brands who want to use Cleanstone.
