Truck Driver - Blenheim

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 5 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. There will be times when you may required to drive Class 2 or Class 4 depending on our customers requirements, so being confident driving these classes is a must too.

Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday starting at 5 : 00am, and rostered Saturdays based in our Blenheim Branch.

Key responsibilities include

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading / unloading
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You

Qualified Class 5 driver with at least 6 months' experience

Experience working in frozen / temperature-controlled environments

Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities

Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times

Strong understanding of Health, Safety and Compliance.
