Business Improvement Manager - Air Fulfilment, Content and Operations (parental cover)

Overview

Business Improvement Manager - Air Fulfilment, Content and Operations (parental cover) at Flight Centre Travel Group. This role combines passion for Air Fulfilment, Content Distribution and Process Improvement and involves collaborating with key stakeholders across FCTG Supply and partners to identify and implement process, operational and strategic improvements.

The goal is to drive positive change, improve efficiency and performance, optimise resources, and foster a culture of innovation within the fulfilment and content distribution functions. This is a 12-month parental leave cover and can be based in any AU / NZ city with an FCTG head office.

What you will be doing

• Offshore management : relationship and resource management, proactively monitoring performance and SLAs; drive continuous improvement of business and operational processes within the Air Systems team and with offshore partners.
• System administration and maintenance : facilitate and participate in testing of systems and release management; manage automation, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and chat bots to maximise uptake.
• Design and deploy systems or processes that maximise consultant productivity, automation and efficiency across the business, including offshore partners.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects using standard project methodologies; may participate in large projects as a team member.
• Communicate regular priority and status updates to relevant stakeholders; work with subject matter experts and technical specialists to transition new work to offshore partners.
• Analyse, validate and document current and future state requirements and processes; identify risks and issues; articulate stakeholder impacts with the change team.
• Provide expertise for training participation and collaborate with training to review and provide feedback on training materials.
• Champion change and integrate processes back into the business in partnership with change specialists and business leaders.

Hours and Location

Hours : Monday to Friday 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm, with some reasonable outside standard hours to service global partners.

Location : Based in any AU / NZ location with FCTG HQs; remote working not available.
