About the role | Mo te tunga

We're hiring a Graduate Analyst to join our Monitoring & Analysis team.

As part of the role, you will analyse and interpret benefit system data and produce high-impact reports for Ministers and senior leaders.

You'll manage technical workflows, spot trends and deliver insights that support transparency and better decision-making.

What you bring | Ou pumanawatanga

We're looking for graduates who are curious, motivated and passionate about creating social impact, with a tertiary qualification in economics, statistics, operations research, or a related field.

You should have experience (or strong willingness to learn) using econometric or statistical tools like SAS, SQL, R, Python or similar software, plus solid Excel skills for analysing data.

You'll be confident with manipulating data, generating timely reports and translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for operational teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely are essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Teamwork and relationship management

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Adaptable, proactive, and driven by purpose
