We are a Y1–6 five-teacher school located 10 minutes from the rural township of Wairoa.
The area is home to the magnificent Mahia Peninsula, the beautiful Lake Waikaremoana with the renowned Wairoa River running through the township, and caters for tramping, hunting, surfing, fishing and plenty of whitebait!

Skills in connecting with our amazing community, kaiako and tamariki are essential.
Our team is searching for kaiako with in-depth curriculum knowledge and outstanding teaching practice who is totally focused on children's learning and achievement.
The teacher we are looking for will be a dynamic person who inquires into their own practice, uses evidence effectively to promote student learning and progress, be a total team player and have a great sense of humour!
