Our high-performing teams are drawn to BW by the global nature of our work and the satisfaction of working with collaborative people who inspire each other to deliver exceptional results.DESIGNATION : Financial Accounting and Analytics ExecutiveRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the accuracy and completeness of financial records of assigned companiesAnalytical review of financial statements of assigned companiesPrepare audited financial statements of assigned companiesPrepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors accordinglyPrepare periodic financial report for reporting to Joint Venture partners or banksPrepare and monitor funding position of assigned vessels and / or companiesLiaise with relevant stakeholders and business partners on the performance of assigned vessels and / or companiesParticipate in the monthly review and closing process of the assigned vessels and / or companiesPrepare tax compliance submission for assigned companiesPerform revaluation and allocation function in Oracle as appropriatePrepare journal entries and maintain accounting schedules as appropriateMaintain fixed assets information in a timely and accurate mannerPerform checks to ensure accuracy of the system generated informationAssist in administrative matters in the departmentActively participate and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures through QMSOther ad-hoc dutiesQUALIFICATIONSDegree in Accounting / professional qualification in Accounting4-5 years work experience in Accounting-related rolesWorking knowledge of FRSStrong computer skills and experience in computerized accounting / ERP systems an advantageMost recent work experience should include : Analytical review of financial statements, Preparation of financial reports, Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with auditorsMatured and strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across all levelsPrior experience in shipping industry and / or shared service centre will be an added advantageAbility to work under pressure and to meet deadlinesComfortable in handling high volume work in a fast paced environmentAble to commence immediately or within short noticeOTHER INFORMATIONAt BW, we offer challenging work in an international environment with a team of dedicated and competent colleagues.
