Job Description

Te kaupapa o te turanga - The purpose of the role.

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team.

Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Hours of Work

Sunday and Monday : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm

Tuesday - Thursday : 8 : 00am - 12 : 30pm

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras

Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor

Interact with customers and address their concerns

Upload events onto our crime reporting platform

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required.

Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
