THE ROLE / TE MAHI
Ko Taku Reo is seeking an experienced and visionary Deputy Head of Outreach School to join our leadership team. This key role supports the Head of Regional Outreach Services to deliver equitable, high-quality teaching, learning, language, and wellbeing support for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing learners across Aotearoa.
You will lead the operational coordination of Outreach Services across four regions - overseeing systems, logistics, data and team development. As the link between regional teams and national leadership, you’ll drive consistency, equity and improvement through effective planning and collaboration.
A hands‑on leadership role (equivalent to a mainstream school DP), you’ll promote excellence, strengthen whānau and community engagement and ensure services reflect best practice and evidence. This is a national role and there is flexibility where it is based.
