About the opportunity :

Our client, a well-established company located in Onehunga, Auckland, is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Sales Engineer / Estimator to join their team!

This position will cover a wide range of responsibilities, including opportunity development, project pricing and management of the sale process. This is a senior role within the business working closely with the GM.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Generating targeted project opportunities focused on the industrial and commercial sector to price.
  • Accurately and competitively pricing these projects in a timely manner based on documentation provided.
  • Building a pipeline of project work.
  • Contact and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.

This role will suit someone with all or some following background / experience / qualities :

  • Proven experience in a similar role in the HVAC sector would be optimal.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and industry practices.
  • Strong ability to analyse project requirements and accurately quote project jobs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
