Teacher / Tutor - Humanities / Spanish

We are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full-time humanities / Spanish teacher to join our incredible secondary team. ACG Parnell College is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Parnell, Auckland. We cater for students in Y0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculums. We require an experienced hums / languages teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for students' individual needs. The successful applicant will enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.

The position will commence in term 1 2026.

• Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
• Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
• Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
• Participate in wider school activities.
• Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.
• NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and / or MBA).
• Experience in teaching humanities & languages curriculum to a high standard.
• Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
• Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
