Healthcare Assistant – Nursing Support Team

Permanent full time and parttime roles available between 0.4FTE – 1.0FTE (16 – 40 hours a week)

Shifts– Monday to Sunday, Morning, Afternoon and Nights

About the Role

Christchurch Hospital Poolhas an opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join their team on a permanentcontract.

Healthcare Assistants are instrumental in providing care topatients and supporting the clinical team.

As a Healthcare Assistant you willassist nursing staff with patient cares and patient observation, whilstmaintaining a safe and clean work environment on the ward.

About you

You will have the followingskills and experience :

Recent experience as a carer ina Hospital setting, Acute or Community

Ability to work a rotatingroster across all shifts – Morning, Afternoon and Nights

The ability to cover shiftsacross all clinical areas of Christchurch Hospital

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently andeffectively in a multidisciplinary team

A high attention to detail andthe ability to relate to patients and their families

Excellent time managementskills and a willingness to learn

Initiative and a proactiveapproach to work
