Position Title : Store ManagerObjective of Position : To oversee and manage all kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring professional, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
To effectively lead, support, and train team members, maintain product quality, uphold hygiene standards, and ensure the store operates according to Sal's policies and procedures.Reports to : Amitkumar Badoriya (Director)Relationship with : Staff, Customers, Head Office
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Oversee preparation of Garlic Knots, Pepperoni Wheels, and all menu items in line with Sal's display rules and product standards.
Ensure daily pizza display is prepared accurately; approve any adjustments to display rules.
Supervise the preparation of hand-tossed 18" pizzas for display and customer orders.
Monitor correct saucing, cheesing, oven operation, and overall pizza-making procedures.
Ensure the kitchen and work areas remain clean, hygienic, and compliant with food safety standards at all times.
Ensure cleaning procedures are followed for all equipment, tools, and dough trays.
Confirm all food and dry stock levels are adequate using G-Docs inventory sheet estimates and adjust as required.
Ensure the store is cleaned according to morning / evening routines and hygiene requirements.
Customer Service & Front-of-House
Ensure customers are greeted professionally and receive efficient, friendly service.
Support staff in handling special customer needs, including children, elderly, or disabled patrons.
Oversee POS operations to ensure orders are taken accurately and courteously.
Maintain Overall Pizza Awareness (OPA) : ensure tables are cleared promptly and dining areas remain tidy.
Double-check delivery addresses and contact details to prevent errors.
Ensure all food and beverages are served professionally and according to agreed procedures.
Staff Leadership & Training
Lead by example by treating all staff respectfully and cultivating a positive and safe work environment.
Train staff in Sal's operational standards, hygiene practices, and the "Sal's way" of preparation and service.
Provide ongoing guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
Communicate clearly and professionally within the kitchen and with front-of-house staff.
Ensure staff complete all required Sal's Legacy announcements, mandatory procedures, and online trainings.
Reporting, Administration & Compliance
Send weekly KPI reports to the Director and Head Office.
Conduct weekly and monthly stocktakes and report results for effective stock management.
Prepare and send weekly payroll administration to Head Office; verify clock-in hours for accuracy.
Ensure compliance with all sanitation, food safety, health & safety, and alcohol control policies.
Participate in fire / evacuation drills and ensure staff are familiar with all emergency exits.
Report honestly and promptly to Head Office and respond to guidance in a timely manner.
