This role is key to maintaining the integrity and consistency of our admissions English testing for Foundation programme entry.Role PurposeYou will administer and assess the speaking component of the UPELT, following set standards and procedures.
Your attention to detail and candidate care will help ensure the process runs smoothly on test day.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will : Deliver online UPELT Speaking tests on Wednesdays according to set standards and proceduresEnsure test security and support candidates throughout the assessmentComplete all test documentation the same day as the testing sessionObjectively and accurately assess candidates' speaking skills using UPELT criteriaMark other test sessions as required (one-day turnaround for marking)Moderate marking if needed, working collaboratively with colleaguesCommunicate promptly with the UPELT Invigilation Team about any issues or irregularitiesAbout YouYou have : Deliver online UPELT Speaking tests on Wednesdays according to set standards and proceduresEnsure test security and support candidates throughout the assessmentComplete all test documentation the same day as the testing sessionObjectively and accurately assess candidates' speaking skills using UPELT criteriaMark other test sessions as required (one-day turnaround for marking)Moderate marking if needed, working collaboratively with colleaguesQualificationsRequired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree (or higher) in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related subjectTeaching qualification (TESOL, CELTA, Diploma in Education, etc.) is preferable.Examiner training or previous formal examining / assessment experience is highly desirable.Additional InformationOur application process : To apply for this position, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and interest in the role.
