Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit / Te Puna Wai Ora

About the role

• Deliver long-term life support services to critically ill patients
• Case load includes both ICU and HDU patients
• Provide a tertiary referral service for other medical providers throughout Otago and Southland
• Assist the Aeromedical Retrieval Service to transport patients to other hospitals
• Work in a fully refurbished ICU unit
• Patients transition between levels of care without leaving the unit
• Use brand-new equipment in a patient-focused environment that enhances quality of care

• Previous experience in ICU / HDU is essential
• An adaptive, hardworking nurse who is empathetic

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $86,519 and $106,739 p.a depending on relevant experience.
