The Manager Enterprise Security provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Department's enterprise-wide security frameworks, architectures, and practices.
This role is critical in ensuring the protection of DIA's information, systems, and infrastructure against threats and vulnerabilities.
The Manager sets direction for enterprise security design, ensures frameworks are consistently applied across business units, and provides expert security advice through a team of Security Consultants.
The purpose is to embed robust and proactive security practices into the organisation's core operations while enabling delivery of trusted digital services.
You will ensure security architecture and frameworks are designed and applied consistently across the enterprise, aligned with the Protective Security Requirements (PSR), the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM), and DIA's digital strategy.
In this position you will lead a team of security consultants, providing guidance, coaching and oversight.
You will ensure security architecture and frameworks are designed and applied consistently across the enterprise, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose, aligned with government standards and support DIA's digital strategy.
You will provide expert advice and assurance to project teams, branches and government forums as well as monitor and elevate risks, threats and vulnerabilities to senior leaders where required.
The key skills and capabilities required for this position include :
Experience leading the design, implementation and management of enterprise-wide security solutions to protect critical information, systems and infrastructure
Experience leading and managing a team of security professionals, providing expert guidance on emerging security technologies and trends and ensuring security practices are integrated into business processes.
Strong knowledge of best practices for security architecture, incident response and recovery plans as well as coordinating security assessments and audits
Ability to build security awareness across the enterprise and drive continuous improvement in security measures.
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
