This role is key to further developing Edison's Infrastructure portfolio across Auckland and NZ.As a Senior Project Engineer you will be coordinating client stakeholders and external consultants, supporting project scoping and tendering, overseeing quality assurance, and ensuring design compliance with NZ standards.
You'll contribute to safety, sustainability, and project delivery through effective design management, site assessments, and collaboration across planning, asset, and operations teams.

We are looking for a respected and passionate Senior Project Engineer to join our knowledgeable and supportive Auckland team.
You will enjoy relationship-building, be detail-oriented, and have a strategic mindset to drive growth.You should have : A Bachelor of Engineering degree in a recognised engineering discipline recognised under the Washington Accord.10+ years of project engineering / design experience in commercial, industrial and infrastructure works projects.An understanding of the NZ Engineering environment and local requirements.Core experience in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure design works.Strong practical problem-solving skills.Sound understanding of Safety in Design principles and applications.Sound working knowledge of engineering standards including AS / NZS, IEC and IEEE, and local codes & practices.Ability to prioritise workload to deliver required outcomes.Strong communication and influencing skills.If you have an excellent reputation as a project engineer, have civil structural experience, enjoy a challenge and looking for a rewarding career move, then we want to hear from you.We know that some people may only apply for a role if they meet all the criteria listed above.
