Job descriptionBE (Civil / Structural) or equivalent with 3–4 years of local consulting experience Solid technical knowledge in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber design Exposure to design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SPACEGASS or similar) Sound understanding of the NZ Building Code and relevant standards Strong communication skills and the ability to work with architects, contractors, and clients Work closely with senior engineers who will actively support your career growth Take on more responsibility in design, project delivery, and client liaison Progress towards chartership with mentoring and training provided Enjoy a positive, collaborative environment where your contribution will be recognised Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Engineering and Information Technology Industries : Staffing and Recruiting
About the Company
Archway Recruitment are currently working with an engineering consultancy based in South Auckland, who are on the lookout for a talented Structural Engineer with around three to four years’ experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a supportive, forward-thinking team and get stuck into a wide variety of projects across the Auckland region.
Responsibilities
- Medium–large scale residential developments
- Commercial and industrial buildings
- Seismic assessments and strengthening projects
- Structural design for refurbishments and new builds
- Community and public sector developments
