The markets are located primarily in Asia, and also Europe, the Americas and Oceania.About the Role : The Product Development Technologist is primarily responsible for managing product development projects allocated for new and existing products as well as managing product formulation, specification set-up, and maintenance activities.

Using product expertise in composition, sensory, and functionality, the Technologist will provide technical support internally or externally, ensuring product nutritional integrity.

The Technologist will also support the implementation of regulatory updates, market access requirements and product registration applications.Day-to-day responsibilities : Participate in product development and product enhancement projects.Carry out the formulation of new products from concept to commercialisation, and raw material specifications.Provide product composition and formulation support to manufacturing facilities.Conduct regulatory compliance checks – local and international regulations.Maintain product specifications relating to composition.Contribute to and participate in a positive health and safety culture at DGC.Key skills and experiences : Tertiary qualification in Food / Dairy Science / Technology or Chemical Engineering.Knowledge of human nutrition, particularly for infants and young children.Background knowledge on regulatory requirements for company's product range.Working knowledge of processing and technologies used to manufacture product range.Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
