- Health Administrator's provide effective, efficient and accurate support to the Defence Health Centre at Waiouru.A typical day in our Health Centre will see you perform a range of duties including :
- Scheduling appointments.
- Answering patient queries by phone and email.
- Managing referrals to specialist health care providers.
- Liaising with ACC units.
- Processing accounts.
- Maintaining medical files.
- Maintaining communications.Providing ongoing coordination and communication between patients and clinical staff is essential to being successful in this role.Due to the nature of this role, there is no option to work remotely.

- This is a key role within our team where professionalism, an ability to work under pressure and a positive attitude are welcomed.To be successful you will need the following key skills and experience :
- At least three years' administrative experience, ideally within a health setting.
- Front line customer service experience and proven ability to provide exceptional support to all stakeholders.
- Confident, pro-active communication and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using medical practice management systems (such as; PROFILE / MedTech32) is preferred but not essential.
