We are seeking to appoint talented and motivated classroom teachers to join our Junior School. These are to be full-time, permanent appointments to commence on 20 January 2026.

With a national and international reputation for excellence, Scots College is a world-class independent school with a strong Presbyterian heritage. It is a fully co-educational, IB World School in the eastern suburbs of Wellington, New Zealand and comprises three schools in one; Junior (1–6), Middle (7–10) and Senior (11–13). We provide our students with an excellent, holistic education within a vibrant learning environment, our aim being to allow them to contribute as global citizens who think creatively, reason critically, communicate effectively and develop the necessary skills to Learn. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $64,083 to $103,086, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be established on confirmation of appointment.

Scots College offers dual pathway options for its senior students, delivering both NCEA and the IB Diploma, for which we are fully authorised. We are also fully authorised for the delivery of the Middle Years Programme and the Primary Years Programme. Experience teaching the Primary Years Programme would be advantageous although training will be provided to the successful candidate.
