NET developer to join our development team.

You will work in an Agile environment with flexibility to match your needs.

Responsibilities

Design, build and look after in-house applications and integrations

Code mainly with modern Microsoft tech such as C#, .

NET, Blazor and Azure plus other tools when the fit is right

Use AI pair programming techniques to speed up delivery

Work with the IT Operations team to sort out outages and performance issues

Follow a clear change control process to keep systems reliable, scalable and fast

Skills & experience

4+ years of experience in backend software development (.NET Core C#), within a medium to large-scale business environment.

A tertiary-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Proven API skills covering RESTful services, data integrations and automation jobs

Knowledge of microservices, containerisation and deployment with Kubernetes or Azure container services

SQL skills for MSSQL and PostgreSQL plus schema design and migration work

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and tools (such as Jira) for documenting requirements, creating user stories, and tracking project progress.

Competence in using standard software development tools (Git for version control, CI / CD pipelines, code reviews).

Strong analysis and problem solving skills turning business needs into solid tech

Clear written and spoken communication able to explain complex ideas and reach agreement

Microservices & Containers : Deployed in Kubernetes clusters or Azure container services for scalability and resilience.

Daily data ingestion from third party APIs as well as core application data
