About the Role :

ANZCO Foods Kokiri have an opportunity for an Engineering Services Manager to join the Kokiri team, reporting directly to our Site Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the Engineering Services, (including energy and utilities) and to implement, generally accepted business practices. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Plant capabilities to meet the operational goals. You will also provide high level service to site with a focus on proactive asset and contractor management with a strong focus on Health and Safety standards.

We are looking for a strong leader who can communicate well across all levels, lead teams and lead continuous improvement across the site.

Duties and Responsibilities will include :

  • Managing site engineering and utilities services to achieve optimise efficiencies, streamline processes, and improve asset management
  • A strong understanding of proactive maintenance
  • Ensuring plant capabilities are continuously maintained to meet operational goals through better use of preventive maintenance processes and systems.
  • Responsibility for providing timely and accurate information based on expected departmental KPI's both weekly and monthly and other reporting as required by the Site Manager
  • Ensuring projects are planned and implemented with responsibilities and timeframes clearly defined and agreed, thereby creating a communication and control tool
  • Responsibility for maintaining appropriate engineering systems and procedures that support the operational goals
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and Injury Management is effectively managed

Skills and Experience we are looking for :

  • Trade Certificate or tertiary engineering qualification
  • Basic understanding of PLC with fault analysis and troubleshooting is preferable
  • Competent in project management
  • Experience with capex development is preferable
  • Experience using contractor management software and tools
  • Experience delivering Health and safety initiatives / improvements and robust contractor management system and use of tools and applicable software.
