Risk and Assurance Analyst – Make Risk Work SmarterThis is a role for the curious, the methodical, the ones who ask "what if?" before the rest of the room even sees a problem.We're looking for a Risk and Assurance Analyst who thrives in the detail - someone who can map risk, monitor controls, and track compliance with precision and confidence.

You'll be part of a high-trust team that supports critical decision-making, strengthens governance, and ensures we stay sharp, safe, and compliant.This isn't just about ticking boxes, it's about creating clarity, building smarter frameworks, and helping leaders understand risk before it turns into reality.What you'll be doing : Supporting the design, rollout and continuous improvement of risk and compliance frameworksMaintaining and updating risk registers, identifying trends, and providing early warnings where neededAssisting with control testing, compliance tracking, and internal audit supportHelping business units understand and manage their risk obligations and reporting requirementsCoordinating and contributing to policy development and internal governance processesProviding clear, well-researched reports and insights to the Risk and Audit Committee and senior leadersEnsuring ongoing alignment with regulatory and legislative requirements across the businessWhat we're looking for : 2–4 years' experience in a risk, assurance, or compliance-focused roleA relevant qualification in risk, finance, economics, business, or similarStrong analytical and research skills, you're good at spotting gaps and making sense of complexityHigh attention to detail and a structured, organised working styleProficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, ideally with experience in risk or audit softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across teamsA collaborative, proactive mindset,someone who brings structure, clarity, and calm to the tableThis is a behind-the-scenes role with real influence, helping ensure the organisation runs safely, responsibly, and with integrity.
