Blown away by the region's natural beauty and inspired by the Council's forward-thinking vision for the future, we are eager to welcome a Qualified Arborist to join our Wanaka team.

About the role :

Working alongside other talented professionals and reporting to our Senior Arborist, you'll be at the forefront of all tree-related operations.

This includes pruning, shaping, removals, reductions, tree care, always making sure maintenance is top-notch all whilst keeping things safe for the public, your team, and yourself.

To be successful in this role you will need :

National Certificate in Arboriculture - Level 4 (or equivalent) with proven practical experience

A positive safety mindset, demonstrating a commitment to a secure work environment

Reliability, punctuality, cooperation, and the ability to maintain positive working relationships

Excellent communication and record-keeping skills

Dedication to being an integral part of a collaborative team with a robust work ethic
