Warehouse Storeperson

We are looking for dedicated Store Persons to join our Waikato team immediately.

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders, replenishing stock and managing inventory.The job :

Immediate start.

Full-time permanent role.

Roster : 6 days per week, Sunday to Friday.

Hours : rostered between 4 : 00 pm to 2 : 00 am (approx.)

Location : Mainstreet place, Te Rapa

The role : You will pick, pack, weight changes and process customer orders accurately.

Accurate picking and packing

Replenishing stock

Handling and processing incoming goods

Rotating stock to ensure that it is always fresh

Checking expiry dates and removing any out-of-date stock

Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse

Keeps products separated, organised and in good rotation

Receiving and unpacking deliveries

Adherence to health and safety and food safety standards

Rotate stock based on FIFO

Picking and processing orders (outwards goods)

Some heavy lifting

The person : You will have some prior experience in a similar role, food industry, or a warehousing environment is advantageous, but not essential.

Required attributes :

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Experience in Cold storage or Freezer warehouse is beneficial

Must be able to work in a cold environment

Reasonably good Literacy and numeracy skills

Flexible and reliable attendance & transport

Valid Forklift license

A good level of computer literacy skills and the ability to pick up new systems

Some Pick Packing / warehouse work experience (beneficial)

Prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients

Honest team player, integrity and reliability are essential.

Attention to detail and Clear communication skills
