Are you driven by the magic of early learning and foundational growth?
We are seeking an inspiring and innovative kaiako to join our dedicated Phase 1 team (Y2–3).

Your classroom practice will actively embody our core values, the 7Cs :
Creativity & Critical Thinking : Designing nurturing and discovery-rich environments that encourage questioning and problem-solving through hands-on engagement.
Communication & Collaboration : Working seamlessly within the Phase 1 team and establishing strong partnerships.
Character & Citizenship : Modelling kindness and self-management, while connecting foundational learning to community values.
Culture : We are looking for a practitioner who places Culture at the heart of their practice, championing diversity and ensuring every young student's identity is honoured and celebrated.
Optional leadership opportunity : Phase 1 whanau leader
For experienced, visionary candidates, we offer the opportunity to also apply for the role of Phase 1 whanau leader.
As whanau leader, you will :
Inspire and Mentor : Foster professional growth within your team through coaching and collaborative planning for early years pedagogy.
Oversee Student Wellbeing : Champion the pastoral care and academic success of all Phase 1 students, establishing positive routines.
Innovate & Champion : Lead the implementation of effective foundational teaching and learning practices across the phase.
Collaborate : Ensure cohesion and consistency across Y1, 2 and 3, aligning practice with the school's overall vision.
If you are committed to making a profound difference in the lives of our students and staff, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking school environment, we encourage you to apply and indicate your interest in the leadership role.
Together we learn, care and grow.
Let's do it together.
