We're looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineer (Junior / Intermediate) to join one of our Frontend squads for a
24 month Fixed Term Contract
You'll work across modern ReactJS applications and legacy ASP.NET WebForms systems, helping us build, maintain, and improve products used by thousands of customers.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a few years of experience (and strong foundational skills) who is eager to learn, grow, and work with a supportive, collaborative team.
You'll get hands-on experience across both front-end and back-end technologies, testing frameworks, and cloud-based systems—making a real impact for Kiwi.

Where your expertise matters.
At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following skills and experience :
3+ years' experience working within a technology team, ideally in a highly regulated industry such as banking, insurance, aviation, or healthcare
A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Proven ability to develop, maintain, and enhance features in ReactJS and C# / .
NET applications
Confident in supporting integration between modern React apps, REST APIs, and legacy ASP.NET WebForms systems
Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
Experienced in collaborating with designers to turn Figma mockups into responsive, accessible web experiences
Proven ability to participate in code reviews and learn best practices from senior engineers
Confident in testing and debugging applications using Playwright, Jest, and xUnit / NUnit
Strong understanding of core web application concepts—performance, accessibility, and security basics
Experienced in working as part of an Agile team, contributing to planning, reviews, and retrospectives

On-call Requirement
Please note : This role includes an on-call support requirement.
You'll be rostered on-call for one week every six weeks (Tuesday to Tuesday).
The schedule may change slightly in the future as our team evolves.
