If you're passionate about innovation and safety, we'd love to welcome you aboard.About the roleOur Asset Data Analysts work closely with our Metros leaders to analyse the key asset indicators, identify gaps for improvement and make recommendations to the KiwiRail managers to enhance the overall operational performance of the assets in the Metros.Key accountabilities include : Work with multiple sources including but not limited to Maximo, Engineering inspections, Eddy current reports, PAUT reports, NDT reports, EM80 reports ATIS reports to provide better understanding and report around the condition and trending of condition of infrastructure assetsWorking with Field Asset Engineers, Workbank Planners / Schedulers and Field Production Managers to support efficient scheduling of workReviewing and providing summary reports on service requests and work ordersAssisting with assurance and reporting for Metros, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirementsAssisting with identifying any non-compliance, ensuring mitigations and actions to rectifyAct as SME for the contact of Asset Management and Business Plans and systems used by the Network teamsAnalyse and report on asset condition, trends, options, types of materials to support Asset Management PlansVarious reporting, including asset updates, service requests, inspections and code compliance itemsBe recognised as a Maximo reporting expertWhat you will bring | SkillsKnowledge and experienceProven track record of contributing to positive project outcomes in complex multi-disciplinary environmentsExperience delivering rail projects is an advantage, and certification as Project Management Professional is a plusProven knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and reporting, including risk management, design, specification, and production for assigned projectsPrevious project engineering experience and ideally experience working in the railway or construction industryDemonstrable experience contributing to key project documentation and working with teams to deliver quality outputsExceptional organisational skills in prioritising and managing own workloadContinually reviewing work practices, productivity, and cost control throughout the project to maximise the financial performance of projectContinuously assess risks and scope changes, identifying and recommending solutions to minimise adverse effects on cost, timeliness and quality of the projectMaintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of project progress and likely impactsWays of working / Work-related qualitiesYou are able to maintain composure, making sound and timely decisions under pressureYou are pragmatic and flexible, effectively balancing the needs of your team, project and KiwiRailQualificationsTertiary qualification in related disciplineProject Management qualifications, PRINCE, PMPAndRelevant industry and / or project management certificationsWhat's in it for youCompetitive salary plus 4% employer KiwiSaver contributionProfessional development opportunities to help you grow and succeedAccess to NZ Rail Staff Welfare Trust benefits, including holiday homes, medical support and discounted travelBe part of a diverse and inclusive workplace dedicated to innovation, sustainability and community impactReady to Make a Difference?
