Additionally, you will provide guidance and tools to teams to implement standardised, effective and compliant processes, helping maintain compliance and reliable outcomes across the organisation.Lead and improve procurement and contract management processesSupport the team with tenders, contract setup and negotiationsMonitor supplier performance and manage risks proactivelyEnsure compliance with legislation, policies and industry standardsDevelop templates, tools and supplier panels to support consistent processesProvide timely and accurate reporting for stakeholdersWe are looking for someone with : Tertiary qualification in engineering or procurement or a related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in procurement and, or contract managementKnowledge of commercial contract frameworks and local government procurement strategiesExcellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage contract issues and maintain supplier performanceOutside of work benefits, we also offer : Flexible working arrangementsFree flu vaccinationsSubsidised eye testsAccess to wellbeing resources and workplace supportOngoing training and developmentThis is a full time, 40-hours role based in Tokoroa.
