Overview
Civtec was established in 2014 and provides civil, and utilities infrastructure works across telecommunications, three waters, and energy. The role
- Undertake machine operation and labouring within the Civil / Water department in line with Civtec process and requirements.
- Undertake all work required to complete civil / water projects.
- Acting as a first line response, provide specific technical advice to team members on site to ensure tasks are completed as per the design and meets industry and Civtec standards.
- Mentor and educate teams on site to improve efficiencies and quality of delivery. Use appropriate Civtec technology (ie. Apps).
- Ensure all prestart documentation, permits, quality assurance, and compliance documentation is completed. Including supporting others to complete their required documentation.
- Undertake all work required to complete operation / labouring tasks in a safe manner such as installation of temporary barriers, warning signage, ramps etc.
- Escalate issues, as appropriate, to the manager.
- Complete administrative tasks to a high standard.
- Train and educate current and new staff of practices and processes.
- Actively communicate with all stakeholders (team members, management, clients) to provide accurate information in a timely manner.
- Seek opportunities to improve and enhance processes internally and with our partners.
- Appropriate and timely escalation of issues to internal stakeholders
- Other duties as reasonably required in accordance with the conditions of this position.
Qualifications and experience
Proven experience in all aspects of civil and / or Water works including machine operation and labouring.Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence (or higher).WTR endorsement.First Aid Certificate preferred.Traffic Management qualifications.We offer
