Operator / Labourer

The role

• Undertake machine operation and labouring within the Civil / Water department in line with Civtec process and requirements.
• Undertake all work required to complete civil / water projects.
• Acting as a first line response, provide specific technical advice to team members on site to ensure tasks are completed as per the design and meets industry and Civtec standards.
• Mentor and educate teams on site to improve efficiencies and quality of delivery. Use appropriate Civtec technology (ie. Apps).
• Ensure all prestart documentation, permits, quality assurance, and compliance documentation is completed. Including supporting others to complete their required documentation.
• Undertake all work required to complete operation / labouring tasks in a safe manner such as installation of temporary barriers, warning signage, ramps etc.
• Escalate issues, as appropriate, to the manager.
• Complete administrative tasks to a high standard.
• Train and educate current and new staff of practices and processes.
• Actively communicate with all stakeholders (team members, management, clients) to provide accurate information in a timely manner.
• Seek opportunities to improve and enhance processes internally and with our partners.
• Appropriate and timely escalation of issues to internal stakeholders
• Other duties as reasonably required in accordance with the conditions of this position.
