Job Description
Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for a full-time Hotel Service Attendant to join their talented and passionate culinary team.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Deliver exceptional service by assisting guests with dining, beverages, and gaming experiences.
Coordinate and support hotel staff, including porters, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Assist guests with luggage, bookings, and travel arrangements while ensuring a welcoming experience.
Maintain cleanliness and order in service areas, clearing tables and resetting spaces efficiently.
Explain and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Build positive guest relationships by responding to requests and providing helpful local knowledge.
Expected minimum hours : 30 hours per week.

Payment processed fortnightly by direct credit to nominated bank account.
Annual salary approximate : $41,340-$44,460 NZD (excluding contributions to KiwiSaver).

Breaks : Employees are entitled to paid rest breaks and unpaid meal breaks based on the number of hours worked.
Breaks will be taken at times agreed to by the employer and employee or when the law says breaks must be taken.
Leave Entitlements : As per Employment New Zealand - Leave and holidays, and Holidays Act
Period of Notice : Four weeks
Qualifications
0–6 months experience within a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff.
Positive, friendly, and proactive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain high service standards.
Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
