Health Care Assistant - Cardiology / NephrologySalary band - $60,000 - $70,000 p.a pro-rata and Kiwisaver0.8 FTE / 64 hours per fortnightHealth New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleIn this important role you will help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the department environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning including the following : Patient watch / supervision and / or movement with one-on-one careRestocking and setting up of equipmentSupporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare teamClerical duties as requiredYou will need to be able to commit to rotating rostered shiftsHours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekendsTe Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.
