Flooring Installer - New Plymouth

About the Role :

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Flooring Installer to join our team at Carpet Court. Based out of our New Plymouth warehouse, in this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for installing a range of floor coverings in homes, offices, commercial sites, and more. You'll deliver high-quality workmanship in line with industry best practices and compliance standards while creating an exceptional experience for our customers.

This is a Monday - Friday position, with additional hours available if interested. The hourly rate is $28-$32 per hour, dependent on experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Install floor coverings in accordance with current New Zealand Standards and industry guidelines
• Deliver outstanding customer service on-site, always wearing branded gear and presenting a clean, tidy vehicle
• Ensure accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting of all floor coverings
• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Actively promote and adhere to health and safety policies, including timely reporting of any incidents or near misses
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
