Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer

Overview

Archway Recruitment is seeking an experienced Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer to join a highly regarded consultancy delivering practical and innovative land development and infrastructure solutions across the Wellington and North Island regions.

The Role

You’ll be involved across all stages of project delivery — from concept design and detailed planning through to construction management and client liaison. Working within a supportive team environment, you’ll manage and deliver a range of land development and three waters projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering civil engineering design and documentation for stormwater, drainage, water supply, sewerage, and roading projects.
• Preparing drawings, reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Managing projects end-to-end — budgets, contracts, tender documentation, site observations, and construction monitoring.
• Liaising with councils, contractors, and clients to ensure design compliance and effective project outcomes.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while achieving project and billing targets.
• Promoting safety and compliance across all stages of design and delivery.

About you

Required

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer who is competent in utilising 12D software for design who has proven experience working across land development, roading and three waters projects. Key attributes and experience required include :
