The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives.

The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter to join our Canterbury Service Centre. This position is 15 hours per week and will cover the Canterbury region.

Key Qualifications

• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Marketing knowledge and skills and / or a relevant qualification
• The ability to work alone and also as part of a team.
• The ability to develop and outwork project plans.
• To work weekends & evenings as required
• An in-depth understanding of how the role recognizes the special relationship between Maori and Tauiwi and has a strong empathy with the organization’s special character.
• A full New Zealand driver's license is essential.
• An alignment with the Open Home Foundation’s Christian Kaupapa.
