Our Matamata team is looking for a motivated, professional, and community-minded Property Manager to join us in delivering exceptional service to property owners and tenants throughout the Waikato region.
You'll take ownership of your own portfolio, providing expert care, strong communication, and a proactive approach that ensures every property under your management is well-maintained, compliant, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your portfolio of residential properties with professionalism and attention to detail.
Coordinate advertising, tenant selection, rent reviews, and all tenancy documentation.
Conduct timely entry, exit, and routine inspections, ensuring reports are accurate and shared promptly.
Address maintenance issues quickly and effectively through systems such as Tapi and Palace.
Monitor rent payments and manage arrears with empathy and firmness.
Provide expert advice to landlords on compliance, improvements, and maximising investment potential.
Build trusted relationships with local tradespeople, tenants, and owners.
Represent Property Brokers at Tenancy Tribunal hearings or mediations when required.
What You'll Bring
At least one year of experience in residential property management, or relevant experience in real estate or customer service.
Strong understanding (or willingness to learn) of the Residential Tenancies Act and Healthy Homes standards.
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
A calm, professional manner and genuine care for people.
A Level 4 Certificate in Residential Property Management (or willingness to achieve it).
A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy, supportive team environment.
