, who will report to the Senior Product Manager - Home Lending Credit Risk.

In this key role, you'll help develop and implement home lending credit risk policy and strategy to meet commercial goals and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

As a Product Manager, your

passion, curiosity, and initiative

along with the expertise in credit risk data analysis, strategy optimisation, and product development will position ASB to deliver products and experiences that customers love!

You'll build relationships with key stakeholders in retail distribution channels, credit risk management, operational support areas, retail & business credit, and other critical functional teams to deliver coordinated initiatives.

You'll identify opportunities within the Personal Banking product portfolio and develop clear, commercially sound recommendations to keep credit strategy competitive, within risk appetite, and optimised for growth and simplification.

You'll play a key role in ensuring product and policy compliance with regulations and internal governance requirements, manage essential processes, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to gain their support.

You'll ensure our products deliver to ASB's purpose, brand and customer expectations.

Being part of ourPersonal Banking Product Practice, you will also support the development of excellence in our Product craft, driving a continuous learning culture, sharing knowledge and upskilling each other.

You will have proven experience in product strategy, credit and / or operational risk management, and data analysis, with a track record of delivering strategic priorities to optimise credit risk.

Knowledge of banking products, especially home lending, is preferred.

You will be valued for providing clear, data-driven recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive impactful change efficiently.
