Life and health insurance
Fixed term for two years
Lead and work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and on-farm action – seeing results firsthand.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Pamu's Strategic Programme Lead, you'll take the lead on our LIFT (Livestock Innovation Future Transformation) Programme – a bold, national initiative designed to transform New Zealand's red-meat sector through technology adoption, environmental performance, and data-driven management.
This is a role where you'll see real impact.
You'll help scale technologies like virtual fencing and animal wearables across beef and sheep systems, building on proven success in the dairy sector.
It's about turning innovation into everyday practice – delivering profitable, low-footprint, and climate-resilient farming systems.
This is also a newly created position, so you'll be shaping it from day one – setting the direction, designing systems, and creating something lasting.
You'll be joining an engaged, future-focused team that's genuinely committed to making a difference for the sector, the environment, and rural communities.
While you'll be based in Wellington, you'll travel across Aotearoa to visit farms, partners, and see progress firsthand.
This mix of strategy, collaboration, and in-field experience makes the role both dynamic and deeply rewarding.
This is a real opportunity to help lead meaningful, sector-wide change, and see the results on the ground.
The position is fixed term for two years.
