The Electoral Commission is looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Information Technology team. You will be part of a high-performing, supportive and fun team that is dedicated to ensuring the Commission's IT solutions run smoothly and securely so that it can deliver excellent services to the public.
The position will report to the Manager, Applications and will be responsible for providing technical architecture, leadership, options analysis, solutions and direction on the Commission's applications and software landscape. The position will play a key role in the set up and integration of existing and new applications, as well as providing a lens to the future of where we want to be heading.
This is a permanent role with no direct reports. The salary grade for this role is grade 18 starting from 127,160 - $155,420 depending on relevant skills and experience of the candidate.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You love communicating complex technical ideas and options analysis to a broad audience in a way that makes sense to them and allows the best decision to be made. You have broad architecture skills and experience across several domains including application development and integrations. You enjoy working on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. You are great at establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with a diverse range of people across all levels.
