Role for a Registered Nurse - Supporting Mental Health and Addiction
Fixed Term 0.5 FTE
Monday to Friday hours
About the Role
The Learning Hub Advisor willwork across the organisation with a predominant focus on training anddevelopment for the Mental Health and Addiction Service Team , in the support ofclinical excellence and contribution to improved client health outcomes.

This role also includes educationsupport to Non-Government Organisations funded by Health New Zealand SouthCanterbury.

About you

We are seeking Registered Nurse applicants (registered in New Zealand with an APC) whohave a sound understanding of the Mental Health and Addition Service and experiencein this setting.Ideally the person will have a post graduate qualification or workingtowards this with previous experience in an education role desirable.

Othersuccess factors for this role includes;

Someone who is a professional, a respected leader and role model, with proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop others.

Able to be a champion for and promote the profession of nursing including PDRP / QLP / Merit Steps.

Be approachable, adaptable and able to work towards creating a positive learning and development culture to support service priorities.

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms andconditions of the relevant Nursing collective professional salary band and thePay Scale, determined on relevant experience.
