Overview
NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is recruiting a CAMHS Learning Disability Consultant Psychiatrist.
This is a replacement, substantive, full-time post - 10 PAs with 7.5 PA DCC and 2.5 SPA.
Location : George Turle House, 54 London Road, Canterbury, CT2 8JY.
This is a replacement substantive post; this post is currently vacant and we wish to recruit as soon as possible.

This is a 0.6 WTE Specialty Doctor within the service and you will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
You will join a multidisciplinary team and work with a 0.6 WTE Specialty Doctor.
Job responsibilities
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Kent.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
Work directly with young people and their families and liaise with external CAMHS providers and acute hospitals as appropriate.
Participate in the on-call rota (frequency 1 : 14) with a 3% basic salary on-call supplement (Category A).
Support peers and the team leader, and be an effective team member while enabling others to work with their own initiative.
Collaborate with the 0.6 WTE Specialty Doctor.
Commit to collaborative working, actively liaising with other health and social care professionals and agencies.
GMC
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
Qualifications
CCT or equivalent.
Knowledge
Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
Knowledge
Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure to be submitted to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
