At Intelligro, we are on the lookout for a proactive, hands‑on Maintenance Engineer with a broad range of skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Based at our busy growing media and related materials manufacturing site just south of Christchurch City and towards Rolleston, you’ll play a key role in keeping our plant and equipment in top shape to support our high‑volume production needs.

You’ll report to the Operations Manager and work closely with our Engineering Services Team Leader to carry out preventive maintenance, urgent repairs, and improvement projects that reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Leading and managing the site’s preventative maintenance programme
• Attending to breakdowns and urgent repairs to keep production moving
• Supporting the Engineering Team Leader with urgent repairs, maintenance projects and upgrades
• Building great working relationships with our machine operators and suppliers
• Keeping accurate records using our computerised maintenance system
• Ensuring each day’s tasks are well‑organised and ready for action
• Always putting Health, Safety, and quality first

About You

You’ll likely have a background in manufacturing, engineering, farming, or a similar environment. But above all, you’ll be someone who takes ownership and pride in their work.
