This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.As a Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their whanau, and fellow team members.Your day-to-day activities will include : Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilitiesLaundering, folding and returning residents' clothing and linens with care and attentionLabelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry itemsSupporting infection control measures and health and safety proceduresBuilding friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needsThis is apart-time position totaling 15 hours per week.Qualifications : You'll be a great fit if you : You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hopsiatlityTake pride in your work and care about the small detailsAre physically fit and comfortable working on your feetHave a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary — full training provided)When you're part of the Summerset team, you belong to a place where your work has real impact, who you are is fully embraced and where your career flourishes.
