We are seeking multiple talented Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing Westpac’s digital applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Your expertise in both front‑end and back‑end technologies will be crucial in delivering high‑quality software solutions. This includes ongoing solution design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of features.

Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do

• Participate in code reviews and ensure software engineering best practices are met.
• Analyse requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications with high availability and performance in mind.
• Deliver sprint commitments on time and contribute to Agile development practices.
• Create, review, and maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct proof of concepts to identify optimal solutions.
• Use Jira and Confluence effectively for project tracking and collaboration.
• Respond promptly to production incidents by troubleshooting and providing solutions.
• Implement shift‑left testing and automation practices to detect and resolve defects early.
• Work independently to design APIs and components with support from Architects.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback where appropriate.
• Adapt to changing priorities and demands while maintaining quality.
• Debug, resolve, and support technical issues as they arise.
