Little Blessings Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join our team.

Role objectives :

Provide quality education and care for children, enabling their educational achievement.

Promote equitable learning outcomes, recognising the Treaty of Waitangi.

Respect the languages, heritages, and cultures of all children.

Contribute to a secure and accepting environment for children, parents, and staff.

Requirements :

Diploma of Teaching (ECE) or equivalent or working towards an ECE qualification.

Teacher registration.

First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Clean Police record.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed early childhood centre in New Zealand is preferred.

Sound knowledge of child development and early childhood theory and practice.

Strong communication, writing, and computer skills.

Ability to manage children's behaviour positively and maintain confidentiality, trust, and respect.

Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to professional development.
