The Salvation Army Early Childhood Centre Waitakere is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Childhood Kaiako to join our teaching team for a maternity leave position in our 2-5 year old space.

Our ideal candidate will :
Hold a recognised Level 7 ECE qualification and current NZ teacher registration (or provisional registration)
Demonstrate strong knowledge of Te Whariki and intentional teaching practices
Value respectful relationships with tamariki, whanau, and colleagues
Committed to bicultural practice and upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Positive, reflective, and adaptable in a team environment

Hours of work
This role is fixed-term part-time maternity leave cover, commencing January 12th till July 19th
With school-friendly hours (9-3), 35 hours per week.
The starting salary for this role will fall
$60,112 - $99,757
