This position will likely be in a Y7–8 class.
The successful applicant will be committed to high-quality teaching and learning, have the ability to motivate and inspire learners, and be enthusiastic to learn and lead with us.
The ability to differentiate and integrate learning across the curriculum is essential, as is the ability to form strong, positive relationships with our tamariki, whanau, colleagues, as well as the wider community.
Being able to think reflectively, demonstrate strong culturally responsive practices and bring one's own interests and skills to enrich learning experiences for students is essential.
Experience in structured literacy and mathematics would be an advantage, however training and support will be provided.
An interest and strength in te reo, tikanga Maori and culturally responsive practice would also be an advantage for this position.
